You would've specified the WEP key in your router, so you should already know the WEP key. If you dont have a wireless router and you are trying to access a wireless network, then you're accessing someone elses network.

If you have a wireless router, and your DS requires a WEP key, then go add a WEP key to your wireless router via the web gui..

WEP is provided by the router. If it's open then it is downloaded automatically, if it is closed it is hard coded into the Wireless router. You would need to go into the router config, look under WEP, and it should be documented there. Once you have it, you need to input it into your network card's WEP setting on your PC.

If you are attaching to a Wireless network using WEP, you have to have the passphrase Ask the person who owns/installs the router. Otherwise, you are out of luck.

Check out your wifi router/access point. It could be the number affixed to the it serves as your WEP key. If not, try resetting your device to remove the setting and set it manually.
