Why are people judged by their physical appearance?

cuz those people r ignorant n will learn 1 day that it doesn't matter what u look like on the outside it's what within that matters.U know those r very shallow people and hope that god doesn't teach them the hard way by them having an accident n there all deranged n people no longer want to b around them or seen with them cuz of how they look.I also find that people judge other to subconsciously feel better about themselves.As long as someone is worse then they r not as bad.

Because we are all driven by biology. Once a human hits puberty, the primitive mind and biological impulses lead us to want to breed, even if we understand now that there are ages and maturity levels that need to be met first. Anyway, people subconsciously are drawn to potential mates: people who would make attractive offspring, thus ensuring a strong line in the future. Usually, women are more drawn to men with very masculine, strong features as opposed to soft, feminine ones, and men are drawn to women that would make good wives and mothers. This is why large breasts are so revered...better for feeding lots of children. And yes, this is all started at very young ages (puberty). It's not pure biology, though. Media comes into play a lot. Like the blond thing. In nature, blonds are not prized, because by default they have lower immune systems, and nor are skinny creatures. Muscular, yes, padded, yes, but never skinny. Skinny creatures die faster in the wild. Oh, well. Sad for us bony chicks, eh?
