the rabbit is just a really small thing and he can't open his eye is there something i can put in his eye to make is better

Is the rabbit's other eye open? If he's really tiny, he may not be old enough to have his eyes open. They usually don't open until the rabbit is 14 days old.
Mother rabbits do leave their babies, and they only come to feed them once or twice a day. Your best bet is to put him back where you found him and leave him alone. His mother will come back (probably in the dark) and take care of him. Otherwise, you should take him to a wildlife rehabilitator in your area. Baby rabbits are very hard to take care. Wild animals need special care, they can also carry diseases, and he may have fleas or some other disease you don't want at your house. You will not be able to sucessfully raise a wild rabbit. Especially if it's sick.

are you sure the mother is not jus t out foraging? if it is a wild rabbit, leave it alone and let nature take its course.if the mother is out foraging and she smells human on her baby, she will abandon it and it will die for sure.
if it is a domestic rabbit, try to find the mother and get her back with her baby. if he can't open his eye, try wiping it with a damp paper towel or soft cloth. if that doesn't work, call a vet and ask what you can do, or bring it to the vet.

well i dont know but if you take him to the vet theyll tell you cuz if you just put wat you think it will help that might hurt it
