PC Angel is a hard disk and operating system recovery solution that, despite its simplicity, offers a number of features you'd be hard pushed to find elsewhere. The Angel PCI card protects your system with a proprietary chip and on-board BIOS that takes a virtual copy of your boot drive. By storing a copy of the FAT (file allocation table) it can completely restore a system back to the state it was in when the last copy was taken.
The potential applications are numerous. For example, you can reinstall your entire operating system or just recover an accidentally deleted file in seconds. Even more impressive, though, is that even if your boot partition has been Fdisked and reformatted, PC Angel can still restore it. Not only that, but it also protects against viruses by storing a copy of the MBR (master boot record) - a favourite target of many viruses.
As the Angel consists of just a single PCI card, installation should be simple, but the process isn't helped by the poorly translated on-screen instructions and documentation. Once installed, the PC Angel BIOS is activated after the POST and, in the first instance, after installation. Then loading the driver disk prompts a screen asking if you wish to save your original partition or make a new one. From the configuration screen you can choose to have the card check your CMOS settings every time the system is rebooted and automatically restore them to their original state if it spots any changes.
i hope this helps
good luck

When dealing with any computer trouble, you need to specify your computer type, and operating system. Without these things, most people can not help you. I did, however, find a website about something called PC Angel. If this is what it is wanting to install, it appears to be a very good program. You must be careful, though. Because sometimes, viruses are made to mimic the names of good programs so people will put it on their computer. Check out the website and see if this is what it's referring to. If it's not, or you can't tell, I suggest taking your computer to a local computer shop to have an expert look at it. :-) Have a great day!

Hi Fanny J from Current Events. Try starting the PC again but try F10 which I think will give you the Hard Disk options. Then 'tell' the PC to reboot from CD or drive D -- AFTER YOU HAVE PUT THE XP Operating System in the D: drive. look through all the options and you will find "BOOT FROM CD" or possibly "BOOT FROM D": Then it is a question of you re-installing the XP operating system again. That is what I do. I have McAfee Internet Suite and very little in the way of viruses gets through but the ones that still manage to I do this: (1) I bought and installed a larger hard disk where I put absolutely everything (I have a 250 Mb HDD) (2) In the original smaller HDD I put the operating system. That way, if a virus does get in the contents of Drive F: the 250 Mb are safe -- or have been up to now at least.

Has it been like that since you started using your PC? If not, you might be infected by malware. Try booting from your CD installer and see if it will still show the message. If yes, it might be a feature of your PC. Otherwise, try to clean up your machine. By the way, what is your PC make and model?

Hi,
I haven't hear of this before "PC angel" but it sounds like spyware to me start your P.C in "Safe Mode" press F5 when it boots up, then go into your control panel and select Add & remove programs and delete it from there, then restart your P.C and run a full Virus scan with "AVG" virus scanner. Hope this helps.

It's a recovery utility. You would do this in order to restore your PC to factory settings.
I wouldn't do this, unless you are having MAJOR issues with the computer & want to start over fresh. Make a backup prior to this action.

Sounds like you could be using Microsoft Windows Vista? Check your manuals - it tell you all about "PC Angel" in there.
