You can do it in either year.

Most students apply at the end of junior year or beginning of senior year in order to go straight from college to med school. If you wait until the end of senior year, you'll have a gap year which may be a waste of time (and also kicks in your student loan payments).

I don't get your question, but if you're talking about applying to medical school you should do it at the end of your junior year to get considered since there's waiting lists 2 years+ long for applicants. Plus you can't apply without taking the MCATs since many medical schools will ask for those test scores.
