Oh I hope I don't loose any cyber friends over this answer but there is a certain Southern/Texas accent that is like finger nails on a chalk board.....Boomhauer on "King of the Hill" talks this way.....like he has a mouthfull of shite!!! Yechhhhh! A couple of NASCAR drivers have it,too.

For good or bad? I love my husbands accent, he's Dutch and I love a good Brit accent!! For bad I'd have to say that fake southern drawl....

I'm not sure what it's called, I call it the Yankee accent or the New Yorker. I love a southern accent if its REAL. hate the fake ones
