Actually Living here in Sn Diego..i live about 15 min. to a 1/2 hr from each one of the Mentioned landforms. if i go north west from my house there is a lake 10 min.away if i veer west for 15 mins.,i would be in La jolla,on the Ocean. If i left Lajolla
and head east,i would be in the Laguna Mountains(and Snow
in the Winter),and i can see the Salton sea off in the Distance.
if i leave Laguna,go east,15 mins later i am in the Anza -Borrego Desert. Its pretty nice here in SD..but its getting crowded..had a home here since 1968.

Technically, it's by a lake (Onondaga lake.) But it's literally so polluted that no one can use it for recreation. So it's kind of like living just in the land-locked middle of nowhere. At least there's a lot of trees.

We also have something called drumlins here, which are hills that were formed by glaciers.

Water... Lakes and rivers... and a lot of 'em! We sit on some of the oldest exposed soil in the world... Pre-Cambrian Shield. The rivers are so old, they wind and curve... most incising and creating ox-bow lakes. It is beautiful here in the North... water, trees... sky... I do love those Northern Lights!
