You can't do this today unless you're well off, but what you need to do if you really want to have some fun is to buy yourself and your son a couple of dirtbike motorcycles. if you're new to riding get him a Honda CRF150 and get yourself a CRF230. Those are two great trail bikes that you can safely learn to ride and it will bring you two together unlike anything you can imagine. Here is a link to some on ebay.

Again, I highly recommend the CRF150 and CRF230. Those are great newer model bikes. If you have less to spend, you can also seriously consider older model XR100's and XR200's. Those are great learner bikes and are VERY easy to ride. An interesting side note is that neither the XR100 or XR200 has changed much in the last 20 years, so any year model in good condition is as good as the other.

Good luck with that. Check your local news paper classified and just go look at some bikes together today. That will be fun too.

And don't forget to buy a good helmet and a pair of actual riding boots. Those two safety items are the most important IMHO.

My friend and I took her 13 year old son and his best friend to an amusement center for his 13th birthday. There was a snack bar (all junk food) and a roller skating rink, laser tag, bowling and a large room filled with arcade games. We all had a fantastic time and we completely exhausted after the afternoon was over.

well you can ask your son what he likes to do and if he tells you than that's what you can do or even play a video game or something.

Well, why don't you ask your son what he wants to do. That is a lot easier than figuring things out.

just try and think of what he likes .... if he is into sports or video games .... books .... girls ..... movies...... and then plan around that for example if he likes :
sports: take him to a game or play with him
video games: take him to an arcade or play some of his with him
ect......
