It's perfectly fine to wear tampons to bed. If you're already using tampons without any probelems, than you don't have to worry about TSS.
The very first time (about 12) when I tried to use one, I only had it in for about 10 minutes and could'nt take it. I experienced some of the signs they talk about(high fever, increased heart rate...
So, I wouldn't worry about it.

Well TSS is a rare disease and as long as you change your tampons when you wake up I dought there will be a problem. However as an alternative to wearing super tampons at night you could wear regular then wear a pad as well to protect. I have to do that sometimes because I have a heavy flow.

As long as you put in a fresh one before you go to sleep and again when you get up, you'll be fine.
