Just look at a picture of a crow and draw it without worrying about details, like feathers.

Remember, don't draw a neck with birds. Their heads go right into their bodies. Beginning drawers tend to "humanize" animals, making legs longer than they should be on a pig, for example, or making necks thinner than the head on birds and things like that.
