Unless a person is planning on living below the poverty level and milking state or federal aid, I can't think of a single reason to be unemployed and be happy about it.

You need a job to qualify for a home loan, car loan, credit cards.... I can't imagine why someone would deliberately stay jobless when they could be out moving forward with their lives.

P.S. Please don't be offended by the state aid comment, I know there are people who need the help and work hard at low paying jobs to support their families. I was talking about the people who could work, but choose not to work because they can be on aid instead.

The government pays them not to work and they are not qualified to get a job paying much more than their government checks.
