I need to install an adapter for my Sirius Radio but I have to remove the radio. I don't know how to do it. I was told that the ENTIRE dash has to come out.

Can anyone out there in Yahoo Answers land help me?

they are right there is alot that has to come out...the panel under your feet when your driviing has to come out...the panel at your knees unclips by pulling hard then there is a phillips screw on the left that u need to remove...then carefully pull on the plastic around the tach it will unclip then under that radio in that pocket theres a lil acces panel a small screwdriver removes that well...then up in there there are 2 8mm bolts that have to be removed....then u can pull your radio out and do what u need to do...be careful not to break anything cause if u do it will not be covered under warranty

new cars are getting so high tech you may have to have special tools to get them open unlike a few screws and taking the panels off check this out http://lonewolf-online.net/doarticle.php?article=cars_howto_radio
