[verse from the song "High School Never Ends" by Bowling fo Soup....the lyrics are so true]

The whole damn world is just as obsessed
With who‘s the best dressed and who‘s having sex
Who‘s got the money, who gets the honies
Who‘s kinda cute and who‘s just a mess
And you still don’t have the right look
And you don’t have the right friends
Nothing changes but the faces, the names, and the trends
High school never ends

Yes, this is true, but only for those who play into this. When I worked in an office for 5 years, I realized this was so true there. I could take everyone in the office, and match them to someone I went to high school with. It was so funny. Now I am a stay at home mom, and I am involved with their school, which is a small private school. This is not happening there, but in the public elementary school they used to attend, it was the same thing with the moms who were volunteers. Once, I signed up for room mom, and the teacher tried to let another mom of the class do the whole Christmas party. They are all in this thing together, trying to keep the 'in' people helping. I am so glad to be out of that, although, yes, to answer your question. I did enjoy high school, but I also grew up and find those who can't let go very amusing to watch!!!

I had more fun in college, but I didn't hate high school. Of course I didn't really care what anyone thought of me and I didn't ever try to be in the "popular" click because I didn't want to be.

I really liked my senior year because of my friends. We just ignored all the drama. I find it interesting that the people above me say they loved college; I absolutely hate it :P
