Well I think this:- Alan Shearer NO, no managerial experience
John Barnes NO, been out of the game to long for such a responsible job
Bryan Robson NO, he keeps getting sacked by his clubs!
Ray Wilkins NO, again no managerial experience
Stuart Pearce NO, doing really bad at Man City

David Jewell ????

Maybe the FA should be looking at the likes of Tony Mowbray, Paul Jewell or perhaps Steve Coppell, probably especially Coppell-what he's done at Reading is amazing. And that's the view of a Scotsman.

I think he'll quit before too long to be honest. As for your choices of replacement! I can’t say any of them really stand out.... I still think one of the best people for the job if only in the short term is Terry Venables.....
