when getting rid of stuff, just get rid of old stuff, and think about getting new ones. keep everything organized, and make sure you put stuff away when ur done w/ it. if u dont have enough room, mark rubbermaid containers to keep things organized. store everything neatly in a storage closet

I've had the same two problems.
For getting rid of stuff- be ruthless. Throw out broken stuff: The odds are you will never fix it. Give stuff to charity that you've not used in a year: You don't need it, and someone else does. If you have stuff you're not sure about, put it in a container to store away for a couple of months.
Now that you've gotten rid of the clutter, organize and clean. Have a place for everything, and keep everything in its place when you're not using it. Consider getting extra shelving: That will help you keep things neat. And if you clean when it needs to be done instead of letting it pile up, it won't be so scary.
If you're having trouble with dirty laundry on the floor, make it a habit to take it straight to the laundry bin. That way you will be less likely to lose stuff.
If you see something in a store that you want to buy, think a moment: Do you really need it? Do you want it because you want it, or do you want it because 'everyone else has one'? If you don't need it, and if you don't really want it for you, admire- then keep walking. That way you won't get cluttered again.
Good luck!

My room was once in a mess before. This is because there are just too many unnecessary stuffs lying around. Perhaps you would like to sell all your junks to a shop which buys old stuffs? Or maybe set up a garage sale. Next, try to organise your room. Well, put all the books together. Try cleaning up the place. Place all your clean clothes into the cupboard. The bottom line, just throw away all unnecessary stuffs. All the best! (=

Here is the easy way to keep it clean , Set your alarm clock to go off in 15, min´s time . See how much you can do in this time , jumpers , skirts, jeans, belt´s , shoes all to the closet, all dirty clothes leave in a pile next to the door along with anything else that does´t belong you can take them to their rightful places when you finish STOP, If you think you have had enough cleaning for the day then reward yourself , have a coffee read your magazine, but if you think you would rather carry on then do the same again , you will be surprised just how much you can do in this short space of time. Try for yourself

Okay, first of all, you need a rabid bear. It doesn't matter what kind, just long as it is really big. Chain it to post just outside your room and give it just enough sack to get through your open window. Now tie a bloody roast around your neck and as the bear tries to come through the window to eat you throw as many things as you can find at him. You shouldn't have any problem wanting to hold on to that old stuff in your room.

I have the same problem. What I try to do is put something away before i take something else out. It's hard to get in the habit but it's worth it.
