Well lets drop a pitcher, cuz I like your batters. Your closers are nice, so lets drop a SP. Meyers and Schmidt are studs. Leave them sit there. Although I don't like Bedard much, I won't pick him to be dropped. Santana and Capuano are great sleeper picks. I even saw someone choose Ervin Santana, not Johan Santana as his favorite for Cy Young in '2007! I'd definitely hang on to them. That leaves one, Derek Lowe. Someone I think is passed his prime. Yes he won 16 games last year, but Meyers, Schmidt, Santana, and Capuano play for contenders and will get plenty of wins. You could use some K's which Derek Lowe wont get you (only 123 last year.)

Good luck, and no matter what ya do have some fun

I wouldn't pick up Randy Johnson anyway. He's getting old and his fastball no longer has that ridiculous speed that made his other pitches that much harder to hit. His ERA last year was 5 (although his WHIP was more like a pitcher with an ERA of 4.2-4.5). His strikeout numbers are still high, but no longer league best.

In fantasy baseball, pitchers with ERA over 4 should be avoided, so unless you plan to also pick up Chien-Ming Wang and J.J. Putz for an interesting themed pitching staff, I wouldn't recommend the Big Unit anymore.

I would drop Dave Roberts though, surely somebody must be available now. I also guarantee some idiot will drop a good player and you'll be able to add him there. Maybe they'll drop LaRoche for Valverde (it happened in my league). But Roberts does need to go bye-bye

why would you bother with Randy Johnson? But I'd probably drop bedard. you have a pretty good team, but you should probably look for some help at 3b, you already have some good pitchers with santana schmidt and of course Ryan

I would drop dave roberts for him, only because you have plenty of speed with hanley. you also have a few guys who will chip in 10+ sb's this year. At the same time if you have the number 1 waiver priority, i would NOT use it here, wait for RJ to clear waivers, if he does great grab him, if he doesn't, thats fine too, but save that number one for a guy who is a top notch stud who is slumping and someone drops him, it happens every year. Hope that helps.

Maybe Bedard? Johnson didn't look good in the AL, but at least his ERA should go down now he's in the NL.

If you like where your team is at, sometimes the best deals are the ones not made. Stay put if you feel this doesn't help you.

Johnson's upside is a much better risk than keeping someone you know is only mediocre at best. Drop either Roberts or Lowe.

I would drop Derek Lowe if I was going to drop anyone.
