If you were a crafty unique type of person and everyone you knew was telling you turn it into a profit would you?

The only obstacle you would have is your lively hood depends on a SSI check of $623.00 a month with only $100.00 of food stamps and if your business goes bust their would be no where for you to turn, but you have a feeling this is what you are suppose to do. Your mind thinks about this adventure every second of the day.

Would you put your passion to work for you?

Would you risk your only "safe" income ?

Take it to a business planner and talk with them re: the reality of your plan. Will your disability interfere with your business? Make sure you declare your earnings. Good luck.

I turned my passion into a business. I have many passions. Some of them are - helping people, donating to charity, making people feel important, making a difference in people's lives. Then when the right business came a long, I jumped in with both feet. I found something that let me do everything I want, own my own time and freedom, and hundreds of people in my company are making incredible incomes (I can get passionate about that too!)

Well, I've always been interested in opening a sports memorabilia shop. I'm currently in college getting a business administration degree. I just took an Intro to Business class, and one of our projects was starting our own business plan for a business. It is definitely a tough and long process. The majority of business fail in the first year. You just need to make sure that if the business goes belly up that you wouldn't be in financial disaster. Hope this helped.

I don't know how religious you are... but what I would do is pray for a sign... if you really have a gift that could make you more money than you are making now I think you should take advantage of that and go for it... back yourself up tho and create a proposal and find someone to invest in you... I wish you the best of luck in your decision

Go for it!!! You are not getting any younger and sometimes there is a limit on how long your passion will last. If you are going to take this leap of Faith, then go ahead and jump now. Don't wait because things can change and then your dream may not be open to explore later.

If my "passion" made me a lot of money I'd turn it into a business. But if it didn't I'd stick to my safe income. I'm studying to become a Family Lawyer and income is hella important to me.

Yes. You've actually described the situation I'm in right now. I tell you, soon I will be rich...filthy-stinkin' rich...
But the important thing is whether you enjoy it or not. If you make a ton of money doing something you hate, life will be terrible for you.

well i've been there - started my own computing consultancy business... but i was lucky - i had someone who invested in me. So, why not try to come up with a business plan that can persuade people to invest in your business ?
