God of War 2 help?

I am stuck trying to make a jump between rafters in Typhon's level. Is there a way to jump that I am missing?

First jump to the right, then jump up, then navigate past the hands to return to Rhodes.

I am stuck in the part where the wheel is supposed to freeze
up after you open the door an activate the statue but it wont.

Help!!
