dump him the sooner or better NO one OWNS you...you should live your own life and not let anyone tell you what to do(excpet for your parents). Don't give up anything you love to do for someone else..its starts with that and then something else later on

What are his reasons in asking you to quit the game? Is it about your health?
Oftentimes when someone tells us something, we always take it for granted. It would be best if we take a second to talk over things rather than jumping into any conclusions. If your boyfriend wants you to quit the game so he could spend more time with you then I would suggest, you take him along with you and teach him how to play the game. If he decline the offer then compromise. And if all else fails... There are plenty of boyfriends in the basketball court. Enjoy the game!!!

Do not quit basketball or anything because someone else wants you to. You have to do what makes you the happiest. If you love basketball, keep playing it. If he can't deal with it, he should walk. Furthermore, I would wonder about a guy who is telling you what to do and trying to control you. It's your life, not his. Do not let a man ever control you or your life. Do what you want to do and find a guy who supports you 100% in everything that you do. Accept no less. Dump him, you deserve someone who supports you.

r u serious what a clown. even if this guy is super important to you. you should still play. obviously you should still play, you have played since the 4th grade. how will you feel next year when you watch and you are no longer playing. if he really cares about you he should support your decision if you do play. even if you like him alot, there is a chance you wont be together in 2 years. how will you feel then, when ur not with him and you sacrificed playing for him. i would explain the situation to him and if he doesnt support you, you should dump him anyways and call me

No! Don't lose your dream just because he asked you to quit it. Instead, dump him! If he doesn't like you playing basketball, so why keep him? It only means that he's not supportive of your dreams or whatever things that you do. Just think of the girls who love to play the sport but could not to..

You never quit doing something you love just because a guy ask you to. So my advice is keep playing, if he really cares about you he will understand and stay with you. If because you keep playing he dumps you then he wasn't worth your time anyway.

An legal experts activity is to brush aside them. coach him he's misguided. stand up to him. he's waiting for that of a 17 365 days previous. tell him what your going to do. share IMPASSIONED plans with fervor. Stand toe to toe and look him interior the attention. He will possibly no longer agree yet admire he might desire to. flow get it son, it is your life.

dump the boyfriend... play basketball.
he's trying to control you. if you give in to the basketball it will be something else later then something else then something else.
he should be encouraging you to do what you enjoy and be cheering you on at your games.
he's a loser... there's plenty of better fish in the sea... its time to take up fishing. throw this one back and go for the prize catch.

I did the same for a girl in HS and I regret it to this day!
Never give up your passions and dreams for ANYONE!
If they truly loved you the would be supporting you, no matter what it is you are doing!

u dont have to dump him...just tell him whether he supports u or not, ur playing anyways. its his own insecurities that makes him want u to quit.
but if u decide to stay w/ him...make him give up something he enjoys and has done for a long time...see how he likes it.
