It sounds very old-fashioned and classic. I'm not sure what ethnicity you are, but it also almost comes off as Germanic, or in the least very European. Hearing the name makes me think of a princess from the 1700's.

The nickname "Bea" is pretty cute, though, and I'm pretty sure your daughter would prefer to be called by a nickname because Beatrice is just a bit too stuffy and serious-sounding for most girls and even teenage girls to like. She'll probably want to be called "Bee" or "Bea" or "Betty" even, to soften the name.

As for the middle name, are you going to pronounce it "Loo-see-ah" or "Lush-ah"? I like the first pronounciation better, but overall it's a very uncommon name.

Darling, I hate to answer this, because I hate being negative.
You can't do a thing about your last name, except to name your little baby girl a name that will sound good with it, and I for one have never liked the name Beatrice. In my many years of life, it has never been a popular name. The second name, I have never heard of and I would drop the s if I used that. I suggest that you go to a web site and look up baby names. Yahoo has a lot.God bless your little family~~~~Jill

I would have to honestly say that I would not like to be nmed Beatrice. For some reason it reminds me of an old lady with a bee-hive hairdo...

I am really sorry and mean no disrespect, but take time to think about some of the stereotypes associated with the names you are considering... I would hate to see a child be mocked because of their name...

I really like classic names and think there are many beautiful names that don't seem so old and stuffy...

I think the name your chose is very suiting for a baby becuase we have these names now a days that are just kinda odd how many Mekaylas ( or how ever you spell it) and Mariahs do you need be original and its cute

I think that Beatrice Luscia is very nice and both names are underused. The only think I'd do differently is drop the 's' in Luscia, so Beatrice Lucia. Congratulations =)

No offense...it is certainly your choice, BUT I hate it.

Beatrice is a very old-fashioned. Of course my sister-in-law named her daughter Lola (blech!!) I think that's worse than Beatrice.

Good luck, and I'm sure that if you decide to name your daughter Beatrice, she'll be beautiful.

It sounds fine, but I can't get past that spelling of Luscia. How about Beatrice Lucia? Lucia can be pronounced Loo-see-uh or Loo-shuh.
