Shouldn't they stay inside the barn so they don't ruin their outfit?

I've actually seen cows who got ruined standing out in the rain. Haven't you ever seen those black and white cows? They were all black but they were out in the rain and the rain left them all spotted after they dried.

I think it has to do with how the leather is "treated", better than cows for sure.

Because when the leather is still on the animal, it's a breathing and regenerating organ on their body...when we have it, it has been tanned and treated...it's dead.

because the cows havent been killed and their skin hasn't been dried or stretched for leather... tanned...
