Is there a way to fix "noisy" boots??

I have a pair of boots I love, but they are very noisy!! I don't know if it's because of the material on the bottom, or what, but I really don't like the stomping sounds! It doesn't happen with other shoes.

Is there a way to fix it?

Take them to a cobbler and have a second, quieter sole attached.

get some soft soles for the bottom.
