I know plots are expensive when they are sold with planning permission. We are looking for something .5 acre or less that would be acceptable for building. (North Wiltshire)

You and a hundred small builders!.You could start by checking with all the estate agents but they will in general, have their own favourites. A radical suggestion but a reasonable one would be to hire a small plane for a day to overfly looking for "empty teeth" or sites that could take an extra unit in villages and the like, that might receive planning approval, other than that, can only suggest advertising in all the local press, best of luck.

of coarse you are ..and so are ten million people out there..trust me on this ..if its out there ..someone all ready knows about it ..if i was totally honest with you ..i would say ..try France ..i know for a fact there are loads out there
