how much money does a principle make?
how bout his/her first year? what does he do?
it seems like he/her sits in their office all day long. i don't get wat they do!! r they aloud to plan fun days and stuff with nobody saying they can't?

They have many duties. They are responsible for the safety of the students, the daily operations of the school, the curriculum, and any events that may take place in the building. The principal also acts as a liasion between the school and the schoolboard. It is a very demanding job.

The salary varies, mainly depending on the number of students in the school and the size of the school district as well. Most principals were once teachers themselves, therefore they know how a school should function in the community.

I think you mean "principal." He or she is the administrator of the school. While they appear to be sitting in the office, they are planning school budgets, solving personnel problems, dealing with student issues and fielding parent calls - among other things. I don't understand the last question - principals can plan school events, if that's what you mean.

Im not sure what they do exactly but a family friend is a principle and she is making over $160,000 a year.
