One of my favorite comments to my "know it all" type law students, back in the "old days", was: "Often wrong, but never in doubt". Even that bit of obvious whimsy irked the terminally ego ridden ones.

Needing to "be right" is a massive ego trip, and speaks volumes about low self esteem, among other, "challenges".

The "Truth" is a wonderful experience, and should be honored when available. There are already far too many sociopaths and "their version" of the truth around all ready, eh? :))

Btw, the above addresses your question in a "tangential" manner, more or less, but i hope that you find it, generally, of some "use".

Be right back. I left my beer on the porch,
the flies are around it. I got to flip the burgers
over out back, and let the other side cook.

Truth is, I messed up and turned left at
where the corner drug use to be, and paid more for the chips and the beer. But a church fundraiser was going on right outside the supermarket, and I bought pie for Gina.

What was it you were tryin' to ask me? Oh
I know. Will I succeed. Ain't worried about it.
What makes America great, you don't have to if
you don't want to.

Yeah, they've proven a dog can eat better
than people.

Gina, only a slice, now. Girl.

Catholics understand that God famous His will to us in 3 techniques: the Bible, historic previous (custom), and in the prayerful hearts of His human beings. The word "aswell because of the fact the infallible observe of Bishops and Popes" isn't clever. Bishops would be unable to by no skill communicate infallibly and the Pope purely does so with the aid of a particular technique called "ex cathedra." The final time a pope spoke infallibly approximately any church guiding principle grew to become into in the Fifties. The Church does not declare that a pope is infallible every time he speaks. that's some thing purely protestants say approximately us, and that's misguided.

For me the most important is the truth because not all the time what you believe "right" is we consider the truth sometimes we think its the right thing to do but other people think its wrong that is why we should seek for the truth...

Why argue they are both right. It's just that one has proof and the other doesn't. Why go chasing after proof when it could be staring you right in the face, the truth has more facets than out own minds can comprehend. End the headache now and acknowledge you all agree.

Ah... such is life. Of course , truth. Funny in this life how right and truth does not have to be dependent on each other. One would think it should and would. Some are completely deluded into thinking that it is. Maybe we need to define terms better to come to a better conclusion. How are you defining 'truth' and 'right'?

Debate, like law proceedings, has to do with skill in promoting one's position and little to do with the truth. Though I respect both, I try to seek the truth. Diogenes where are you?.

The fact we move away from truth every now and again to find if something else works, is natural. It's those who hate change that sticks to tradition.
