Quite a while ago i suspected i had polycystic ovary syndrome and went to my nurse who advised me to see a doctor. He said i was being silly and shouldnt worry but finally relented and gave me a sheet for the tests, onyl because he said i was being silly i never bothered going. Now the symptoms are getting worse and im scared to go back to the doctor again and say test me!! how would you go about it?? Should i see a different doc?

You should DEFINITELY find a different doctor!!!!!
No doctor should SHAME you!!!!!!
If this is a family history, then you should have it looked into.
Find a better, more competent, compassionate doctor.
In the mean time go have the tests done so maybe you can bring the results to the new doctor.

Doctors don't know everything. It is a sad fact. Its your life and your body you know more about what is going on then some doctor. I say you go back to that doctor or better yet get a doctor that will listen to you. If you don't feel comfortable enough to go up to your doctor and have him give you the test you may need a new doctor. Make sure you get both done though the test and a new doctor. I'd say when my health is involved I suck-up my pride and/or embarrassment and take care of myself. It doesn't matter what doctor you go to, but it makes sense to go to a doc that knows something about you and your medical history.
If the doc you were going to isn't one you've been seeing a while, then choose another if it would help you feel better...just get it taken care of so you can move on with feeling better.

Well, I wish I could tell you my life story about the same symptoms...but it is kinda personal so email me and I will tell you more... I will tell you if you don't wish to email me that you need to find a new doctor and another new one and another until someone takes you serious because they do call it practicing medicine for a reason...doctors are not god they just guess!!

see a different dr who will take you seriously health worrying about you health is not SILLY, your Dr. is.

tell ur doc, ok i may be being silly, but can u please check just to make sure? and if ur doc still wont, then tell him to reffer you to someone who will.
