ooh, that's bad. i think you should just - well, take notes on every thing you find useful. then write an outline. my teacher made me do it and it was actually pretty useful. yes, either choice is yours.

I did a paper on Satanism about 2 years ago. I wouldnt exactly consider Lavey [sic?] "modern." From what I remember he basically started his church in the 1960's but there is still a movement today. According to Lavey [sic], or as I remember it, Satanism is all about worshipping your desires. If one said he doesn't worship "Satan" but loves money, Lavey [sic] would say you worship Satan anyways since Satan is at the root of your desires. As long as those articles and books are legit I wouldnt not dismiss them, they can pad your works cited list with references and give your paper more credibility and make it seem more rounded. If writing papers isnt you thing and you find the material difficult to work with think about what makes up Satanism: the history (before Lavey [sic]), notable members, deviations of the Church of Satan, practices and beliefs, etc. I think the church even had a creed of something like 16 "do's and don'ts" so again, there is something else to explain and expand upon. When writing your paper its ok to go off on tangents as long as you can pull it back together in a conclusion at the end. This adds length, detail, and will make your professor think you have critical thinking skills because you were able to pull ideas from a variety of sources and tie in a main point (but then again you would be proving you actually DO have critical thinking skills if you did that so keep it in mind). I would stay away from the "fact/fiction" deal. Your paper is not about fact/fiction, its about a report on Modern Satanism. You could draw up some points about doctrine and offer differeing views from credible sources (ex. how different Satanic denominations differ in their beliefs), but comparing your opinion to Satanism probably will not fly since you really cant cite yourself. If you have anymore questions I'll try to answer. Good luck with the paper and be aware of the plagarism demon.... you can do it without even realizing.

That would work, but all in all it depends on what the topic of the paper is. It being a religion "report"...it seems that it would be asking for information reguarding a certain religion, for research purposes and therefore focusing on the books would be straying from trying to inform the audience. Good luck!

Word of advice never procrastinate on writing papers it brings down the quality of your work and professors are likely to catch you for plagiarism. I would only use works you actually read and researched, but credit any and all works used so that you're not copying anything that could turn up as plagiarised since schools have computer software that's being used to combat this problem on campuses nationwide and globally.

I truly have a sizeable library of offender archives going decrease back to the 18th century. I in simple terms don't comprehend your question. The case of Jesse Pomeroy became solved by utilising homicide detectives in 1875. Theodore Durrant became tracked down by utilising San Francisco homicide detectives in 1895. there have been detectives on the Mayflower, and that they as some distance decrease back as 14th century in Europe sp.

You should include in your report everything that you've found. As well as your opinion. Also you should try going to the library and not just the internet you might be able to find alot more than what you have been looking for.

That is what research is. You look at all angles, learn about them ....reasearch them.
Then you compile the paper with the facts. Quote your sources and give credit properly to your sources.
