My mom has been using Easy Access Business System, basically a really old accounting program. She wants to find a new software program that will allow her to do bookeeping for many clients. Which version of quickbooks or other software program that is easy to learn, prints out posting journal, general ledger, income statement, balance sheet, and payroll? Thank you very much for your time!

You should visit the website for QuickBooks and go through the prompts to see which package is best for your mom and the business.

If you visit www.imsofpa.com and click on the bottom banner you can choose software and get a discounted price on the software.

Thanks and I hope this helps.

Any version of Quickbooks supports multiple clients. It sounds like the business is relatively straightforward. Consider using the online version. No software to buy or upgrade, and you can access it from anywhere. Go to

You should buy either the 2nd newest version or the one that just came out.

All of them work for multiple clients, you just need seperate files for each one. The newest version is intended for use with Windows Vista, and if you don't have Vista, you should buy the next oldest version.
