I'm 14 y/o and trying to join junior varsity football next year. I'm about 5'9 and 120-130 pounds.

well that is really skinny for 5'9'', so it would probably be in your best interest. I'm on varsity now and I know that in practice on JV I loved to beat up on the tall skinny kids so, trust me build your muscle up. But also, do it right.

You must consistently attempt to construct muscle.. it's going to improvement it doesn't matter what. But if you'll take on fairly good, have velocity, and isn't afraid to hit anybody your at the proper monitor. But nonetheless determine it's going to on-line improvement you and make you a bigger participant

yeah muscle is good for any position from DT to WR I'm 14 my self and going to High school next year I'm building my frame too i am 4'9(yes I'm short) and weight like 120 pounds but its pure muscle

You should always want to add some muscle to your frame it will NEVER hurt you... I am 5'4 and i way more then you... I way 146 pounds... its solid muscle but even if you want to play reciever or corner you still need ta bulk up a lil bit...

yea just make sure you go to all the football camps and the weight training program overthe summer and meet the coaches before the season and u will have a much better chance of making it.

It would never hurt, but sometimes not haveing alot of muscle will help too. It just depends on what position you want
