I don't know how the world would view these minor successes of Bangladesh in recent days ICC WC competitions. First beating mighty India and then getting berth in Super Eight matches after beating Bermuda.
We in Bangladesh were desperately waiting for such good news to occur in our national life due to, among many reasons, the suffocation we were feeling under the constant threats and blackmailing by our dirty politicians. Then after many years of sorrows and pains came the dream Caretaker Government with Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed as Chief Advisor who almost succeeded in washing clean our society from bad spells.
Now the Habibul Bashar team in WC Cricket has made it possible that Bangladeshis can start dreaming to earn good reputation internationally where we were mostly projected with negative Image all along by our own politicians and some prejudiced propaganda machines.
About Bangladesh being 2nd best team in Asia, I think you are right if we consider the ICC WC result of first round matches in Group-B. But the reality on the ground is that Bangladesh is 4th in rank among the 4 cricket playing nations in South Asia, if we take long-shot of performances over the years.
In any case, right now our slogan would be Go Bangladesh Go!

NO way in the world. Indians are always the best. Cricket is a game of luck and luck is shadowing on Bangladesh now for a moment. That's it. Cant say they are Asia's number 2 just because they won one match against India. Kenya has won against Australia does that mean Kenya is world number 1.

I seriously agree with you. Bangladesh has a great young and enthusiatic team. They deserve to the #1!
About India, all I wanna say is that there is always a chance apparently nothing is the last in this world. I agree that Indians to curse us Bangalis but you know somebody has to win and somebody has to lose. Hope you guys unserstand because it doesn't necessarily always have to be you, right?

sometimes a team may play bad..but no need to attack the properties of players or try to make the players' reputation bad
