If a b/f or g/f told you their password in conversation, would you be tempted to check his or her mailbox?

I am just about resisting the temptation but I wish he'd never told me. I think I may tell him to change it , but then he may think I've looked anyway... I damned if I do and damned if I don't!!!

honestly.................YES but then where is the trust? only do it if you suspect anything untoward, then you have grounds for doing it, if he has done nothing to arouse your suspicions then NO he trusts you enough to give you his password so it seems he has nothing to hide

Yes, I've done it before and I'm not proud of it. I wouldn't reccomend it though as I found out he was cheating on me through it and it ended in an awful way. I guessed his password - which is even worse.
Think about it this way: if he told you his password it means he has nothing to hide. He wouldn't have told you had he been sending dodgy emails to girls. Don't do it. Relax in the fact that he trusts you enough to tell you his password and you should trust him too!
Think how you would feel if he checked your's. Good luck.

well if you are in an reletionship, it's about trusting each other, I would be tempted but again why do i need to do that if I trust my partner. And I really do trust him. Also how would you feel if he went into your email? You'll feel that he can't trust you and could lead to break up. My partner told me his password to his email when it was important but i never looked in all of his email as it's full of junk anyway. But no I couldn't care less. He wouldn't passed me his email if he has something to hide. so you looked, well is he up to something?? If it's a no, then you have nathing to worry about babe.

I check my mans email all the time. I always tell him though when i do. Hes obviously has got nothing to hide or if he does he doesn't hide it in his email. At first though before he knew that I found out his password i got a little thrill at of checking it without him knowing. Its fun and a little fun never hurt anyone. And if hes got nothing to hide then he shouldn't care anyways.

Well ... thats how I discovered my ex-boyfriend was cheating on me. Oh my goodness, some of the crap I found on there from otheer girls was just disgusting. Haha, to this day he ha no idea why we broke up. Its so funny how he thought I would nver do such a thing ... he thought I believed everything he told me. Haha, he was wrong!
Now, your boyfriend may be an honest man so I wouldn't check his email account. I had reasons to do what I did.

Your boyfriend told you his password so he must trust you,so why dont you trust him and just leave it........besides if he had anything to hide he wouldn't have told you in the first place.
On the other hand.....it's very tempting,lol

If your guy gave you his password that sorta gives you a signal that he won't mind you checking his inbox. Some guys consider that a show of trust & that he's not hiding anything. If you're bothered with it, then ask him if it's ok you'd check.

Well yes I would do that...As long as I feel that my boyfriend is not honest with me, he deserves it. At least I would know what is he doing behind my back. I wish one day to know his password to know the hidden things in his life. As i know that he has many relations with girls over the net and he thinks im so stupid.

No because that would put you in a position not being trust worthy.
Think about it he/she probably told you to see what you would do.

HAHA! My boyfriend just gave me his log in information. I looked at it when I suspected something. If they gave it to you I think it is okay to SOMETIMES just take a look. but don't go on it like every 5 mins. And be quiet about it to your friends and stuff. It can turn out to be something between just you and him.
