I'm in between really good & just good. I'm too good for my group & not good enough for the older group. I've been playing w/ the older group for about 2-3 months. I just beat them all yesterday too. Playing better people makes you a lot better & the lagging thing well it depends. Some people like to play worse people because that gives them cinfidence. Some will get annoyed, they did when I started. They'll get over it though, go with playing better people though, it all pays off.

No if you r on the same team especcially, everyone on the team wants everyone else to get better. If you want to play and get better, you arent going to want to play people that will just pound you though, play people you can get a couple games off of and then figure out what went right and what went wrong. This really will help your game and no i dont think your own team will be mad becuase you want to play with them. Dont worry!

No, I don't think they'll get annoyed.
When I'm training, the better people actually WANT me to play with them and invite me to play, too.
It's not so they can show off and beat me, it's so I can improve my skill.
It also improves their skills, too. They learn how beginners move and the technique new players use.
And yes, you do improve by playing with better players. You learn to react faster to hits, to move around more, and you learn the skill by just watching them serve, hit, etc.

Playing with people you usually play against will make you better. For example, if you always practice against heavy hitters and you play a match against a weak beginner, you may have trouble generating your own power.

In ways, you will improve because you will learn how to play in another level and how to deal with the level. You will also see examples through that opponent. You can learn many things and it will tell you where you need improvement. It depends on your opponent because if they are willing to hit with you and your level, then they will not be annoyed.

It depends -- a good friend wouldn't mind your lagging behind and would help you out with your playing techniques and tactics.
