1.) i second that evan guys Type O Negative suggestion (October Rust is an all round good CD, try the songs Burnt Flowers Falling [odd intro but give it a minute], as well as 12 Black Rainbows [ignore the cheesy title] also for fun their cover of Cinnamon Girl/Angry Inch/Light my Fire are great)
want some emo like whoa it's all about Bright Eyes (try Calender Hung Itself) or Cursive (Art is Hard is a good song)
but for H.I.M-esque stuff...don't really know I know my friend Max loves them and I gave him CD's of some massive attack (risingson and future proof are good songs) and Autolux (turnstile blues and here comes everybody) and the cure (lets hope you already listen to them true emo but if for some reason not....Wrong Number, Close To Me, and Six Different Ways are a few of my favs)

So u want to listen to punk music.My opinion is that the best bands are The Sex Pistols, The Clash and The Ramones. My favorite punk songs are God Save the queen, Stepping Stone, Anarchy int the U.K from the Sex Pistols and Blitzkrieg Pop from the Ramones
