Depends on who you talk to....Enter Vontage reliability or something like that in the web browswer and websites will come up where you can read responses as to whether they like it or not...Last time I did it there were more NO'S than YES'S

I recently helped install a Vonage setup. After installation, the call quality during testing was just fine. I couldn't tell the difference between a normal land line...good or bad.
