No offence, but i don't agree. zMy brothers ex-wife had 1, and it was the stupidest dog I ever met. I think I read somewhere that Jack Russells are the smartest dogs.

they are surely AMONG the smartest, but Aussie Sheppards are the smartest i've ever seen. i don't own one of them so it's not a prejudice. they are always on top when it comes to trainability, and those obstacle course trials.

they are quite bright. many breeds have intelligent dogs in them. i have had good luck with airedales. i'm on my fifth so far for the record too.
