i try to put a trash compactor or a dishwasher. It says 'Must Be Placed Under Counter' what does that mean.?

You have to buy a kitchen counter from the surfaces section, a kitchen island will not work. Once you place the counter in your kitchen, you can out then dishwasher or trash compactor in it.
I am sure there are others, but becoming the mayor lets you take the helicopter to work. But like I said I am certain several others would as well, you just have to reach the top of that career path.

Well it can't be one of those island counters, but you place the dishwasher and trash compactor under those. Um as far as which career lets you fly in a helicopter, I don't know. You can post that question in the forum at thesims.com

You buy a counter then you buy a trash compactor and place it right on the front of counter, like you would do if you were putting a sink on the counter.

It means you first have to buy a counter and place it in your kitchen first, then you can put the dishwasher or compactor in there.
