This my be a stupid question but why dont men wax their faces.
If women get hairs in their faces, the tweezer or face waxing comes out but men always shave.
Is it a man thing? Tradition? or is there some medical thing that they dont.?
It would mean more short term pain I know, but the skin would be more silky smooth, no more razer burn, cuts and irration and less time wasted shaving.
I know men who wax every part of there bodys (except face) so to them pain is not a factor but they shave every morning.
i saw jackass last night (the one were steve o waxs his eyebrows off) and the this question has been stuck in my head all day

Well its acceptable for guys to have hair on their face (and i dont mean eyebrows etc). Stubble and beards and things sometimes looks good; so thats one reason to the whole shaving thing.
It fits into their daily routine. Waxing would just kill. Girls have that whole no pain, no gain mindset to waxing.

OK some men do and don't. If they have thin hair, its possible. I have waxed my brother before and he loved it BC he didn't have to shave for 2 or 3 weeks. I find it normal for men to wax their eyebrows too. But then again not all men would tolerate the pain of waxing. I won't lie i,t hurts like hell. I guess it just depends on their pain tolerance. I have waxed all parts on a man and most can bear the pain and have been manscaping forever whereas I had a man one time that wouldn't stay still for the life of me so I could remove the hair. He was a first timer though.

In the past, it was an unwritten rule that men didn't have to do ANYTHING, as far as beauty/style goes, that caused them any discomfort. No make-up, no waxing, no shaving, and no piercings.
If they did any of these, it's because they wanted to. A man's skin is no more sensitive, their hair isn't any thicker than a woman's, with the same hair color & skin complextion.
Things have changed though. In the 80's & before, having a furry chest was great thing. It meant you were a manly man (just watch Magnum P.I.).
Now days, most women seem to frown on any chest fur, and especially back fur. So men, out of neccessity, have begun to get chest and back waxes, along with laser hair removal. Men recently have had to, for the most part, put some effort into looking good for the ladies. And it's about time.

Occasionally a woman will have her upper lip done if she needs it and often eyebrows. No big deal- barely any hair at all. A face full, however? Ouch! Even shaving can hurt the skin on a mans face.
Plus, what is sexier than a little stubble? Mm!

Waxing is more of a feminine thing. I think men think it feels more manly to shave. And why isnt there a brand for men waxing, they have shaving stuff for men like gillete. But if they had a waxing brand for men, i think more men would start waxing.

Because they have much more and stronger hair on a much bigger surface, and it would hurt to death to wax their faces, and cause serious irritations. Besides, men can have a beard etc, so it is esthetically accptable that some hair shows on theri face.

because the skin on their face and the thickness of their hairs is so much more sensitive than men. The pain would be horrible.

Usually, which too long for me. I believe it depends on the guy and his face though. Certain guys can pull off long hair and other people can't.
