I accidentally put this in religion and spirituality. It was supposed to be here.

-----------------
I just had this question deleted so I am asking it again, taking out my venom.

Holocaust deniers... provide credible links to any reputable source that supports your claims.

Ok, Yahoo! Answers, there it is with the venom removed.

Holocaust deniers... prove it.

---------------------

In religion and spirituality I got many people claiming that the reports of the Holocaust are overblown and that there is some conspiracy theory.

However, they could not cite reputable links.

That is my challenge.

I understand your point, Sana. None should be denied or covered over.

Holocaust denial just happens to be the "fad" these days.

I also think that by denying such things we are doomed to repeat them. Lessons NOT learned.

Good luck- the primary basis for the denial is ignorance and a resentment of some type towards jews- specifically Israel- so asking for facts from that crowd is ggoing to be like getting blood from a stone.

I think you have to look at why so many attitudes have become fertile soil for the denial B.S. (faked and distorted facts and incrediably fuzzy math) - and I think the problem is that people miscontrue and our suspicious of efforts to educate on the holocauset- not seeing that it is incredibly important because we have to have the resolve the next time to stop it- as opposed to trying to make people feel guilty about it.

Holocaust in the WWII did take place.

I think the people who deny it, aren't actually denying it. It is just that (with all due respect to the sentiments of the jewish community/ no offence) they feel the incident is given too much hype. Seriously, people are brutally murdered everywhere; each second. What happened then cannot be denied. But what is happening today should not be ignored. Why isn't anyone betting on doing something to contain holocausts from spreading further.
What do you think is going on is Palestine, Iraq, Kashmir, Sudan, ....
isn't that important; does that massacre of people mean nothing to you.
I completely respect those who died in the gruesome episode you are alluding to. But you forgot that there are people subjugated to the same kind of tyrrany even today---the so called integrated world.

I am not denying it but just recently I became skeptical of the official story. But I have not done in depth research to have a stance on the issue.

And if I am skeptical, so what? What are people going to do? Give me a thumbs down...report me?

And for people who'd like to think I know nothing about the Holocaust, I have been to the museum and I was very emotional and touched
