C20-H30-O = (20 x 12) + (1 x 30) + (1 x 16)
Mol.Mass = 286 = 1 mol. of Vitamin A

If you consider 1 gram, this can be written as 286 gram/mole (286g/mol)

(Moles can be written as g/mol, kg/mol, lb/mol, ...whatever mass unit you wish.

So, 100g or kg or lb, would be 28,600g/mol or 28.6kg/mol
or 100 lb/mol...etc)

14*30 + 1*30 + 16 = 486 (Atomic weights of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen are 14, 1 and 16, successively)
So the gram-molecular mass or molar mass of C20H30O is 486 gm.
