You should be safe. If youre worried then speak to another doctor and ask them for a second opinion.

It is no more painful than a pap smear. Don't worry. I had one done at 12 weeks because of positive pap results for RSV which I was told was common during pregnancy. Good luck.

I have had this done while pregnant, i was about 4 months along tho. Its not painful really... basic feelings when getting a pa done. I have to get another one done next month and i may be pregnant now... So no worries, its been done hundreds of times!

Good luck

If it weren't because you say you are pregnant and have miscarried in the past. I would say there is nothing to worry about. It's your baby do what you think best as is I doubt if something turned up they would be able to fix it while you were pregnant. Wouldn't they have to wait till the child is born?

It does not really hurt. It is like a small pinch at most.

Many women have abnormal cells after a miscarriage. So try not to worry.

I had mine done at 9 weeks.
Good luck

I would get a second opinon, I had a colposcopy and then fell pregnant and was due another smear, they wouldn't do it as I was pregnant and a colposcopy is more intrusive than a smear.

If you feel really worried about it, they can't force you to have it. Just say you want to wait until the baby is born.

Btw - a colonoscopy is when they stick a camera up your bottom and perfectly safe during pregnancy! A biopsy from your cervix is a different procedure.

Its fine - no worse than a smear. It won't harm the baby and really needs to doing to make sure everything is fine.

good luck xx

I myself have to get one, but my doctor told me that they will not do the colpo untill I am between 16-20 weeks that way I am out of the danger zone.. Talk to your doctor I think them doing one at 7 weeks is way to risky..
