my skin is very oily too!
i found a eggwhite mask works very well! crack open two eggs in a bowl, take out the yolks, and whip the eggwhite until it had a good consistancy. put on face for about 10 min then wash off...keeps face oil free all day!

I have very oily skin as well. I wash it every morning with a face wash, I use proactiv, but neutrogena is great. Also, I use a moisturizer that is made for oily skin. It helps cut down on the shine for a little bit. I avoid foundations or makeup containing oil. I find that mineral makeup is the best. Also, carry around oil blotting sheets. Those work wonders and will soak up the excess oil you have on your skin throughout the day.

First of all, no matter what your skin type (oily, dry, or combination), moisturizer is a MUST!!! So please be sure to start with a clean and well-moisturized face. Secondly, try using cleansers, astringents (toners- yes, they are just as important!), and moisturizers that are designed for oil-control. Keep clean&clear oil-blotting sheets at hand at all times! Use one after every class or during lunch depending on how oily your skin is. I suffer from extremely oily skin and these work like a charm! Also try applying loose powder after your foundation and concealer- not only will this help to set your makeup, but it will keep away shine as well (for a little while anyway). Use pressed powders (but not liberally please, as they contribute to that dreaded "caked" look all women try and avoid), but lightly and in tandem with those oil-blotting sheets! Hope this helps :)

Well I would try using an oil-free moisturizer. Also try using Proactive. (use the proactive moisturizer-it doesn't make you look oily, which is really good) Use make-up that is oil free too. Maybe try some powder makeups like bare-minerals. If you use that the more oily your face is the better it looks and it's ok to sleep in. I hope this helps.

Give your skin a good cleaning. I use Sea Breeze to clean thoroughly. Then a pat of water or what ever feels good to soften your skin. Then, I use Rimmel for a light nice makeup. You can use a powder. Will be least moist than a liquid make-up. Also drink lots of water, 8 ounces of water per day is usually recommend. Get your skin clean, and moist, should not be oily. Try too, to stay away from greasy food. If all else fails go to a nice department or make up shop and get advice from the make-up counselors. Good luck.

not using mosturizer can be SERIOUSLY hard on your skin. unlike the rest of your body that just dries and cracks when you don't use lotion, your face is exposed to more and needs that protection. and with out that mosturizer your skin produces larger amounts of oil to keep it hydrated.
if i were you i would start using mosturizer imediately!
for a couple days don't wear ANY makeup unless you just hate going into public without it. then i would suggest finding a weekend or a couple of days that you don't have plans/school...and DON'T wear make up!
i would suggest a light weight mosturizer. Velosity by Mary Kay cosmetics is fantastic, or, a clean & clear ro clearisil mosturizer those tend to be a little lighter on your face. My personal favorite is Morning Burst with SPF 15 it's a bit heavier and takes a little while to soak in.
if this method doesn't work they do make little...peices of paper that you can run across your face and they soak up a good amount of oil on your face.
also i would suggest a powder foundation. some liquid foundations can acctually bring out more oil

I have the same problem...My skin is still a little oily, but MUCH better than it was...
I use proactiv deep cleansing wash and repairing lotion. I also use Clinique Clarifying foundation. It really helps keep the oil under control. (it's for extremely oily skin) Then I put Clinique loose powder over the foundation. I also use Proactiv oil blotting sheets. They leave your face looking oil free and very matte! I keep them in my purse at all times : )
I buy my Proactiv products on QVC.com and all of my Clinique products at Dillard's.
Good luck!

I have oily skin, so I bought "All Right mattifying gel" by Good Skin. It works great.
I put it on my t-zone, under my makeup, and I carry it with me during the day, using it to touch up oily spots, if any.
I only have to use it, like, twice a day.
And I got it from Kohl's. That's the only place I've ever seen it.

You can buy oil blotting sheets and blot your face through out the day. Some brands that have them: Clean & Clear, The Body Shop, E.L.F...
You can buy a oil control make up primer, I know Boots No.7 makes one (about $10)
Try an oil control, and oil free moisturizer.
