put some nasty thing in your shoes, and let him/her chew it! not poisonous things though.

Keep the shoes away from him/her. I have a pet schnauzer too, but he's attracted to socks, not shoes. I just keep the socks out of his reach, because he displays no adverse reactions towards scoldings whenever he bites a sock anyway.

Take out the Odor Eaters, And go jogging everyday with no socks. They should than have enough radiation in them, to keep the Schnauzer away.

Simply move your shoes somewhere so that your dog doesn't have access to them. My cousin's dog used to do the same thing to my shoes and now I have no choice but to put them in a closet.

let the dog have one well-worn shoe, and find a place for the rest where he/she can't get to them. the choice of a shoe is that it bears and retains your scent, and the dog is connected to you and possibly has 'separation anxiety' which is a subject you can read up on and work toward a cure by behavior modification.

My dog always chews on my underwear, and when I come home, I find them scattered all over the house.
