guys are like, what? why are you on a diet? you look good. You're not fat your thick. I am engaged and my fiance thinks I am beautiful so what my grandpa says doesn't really "bother" me but my whole life i have heard it and it has given me a complex. I am told i am thick. I am 5'6" and weigh 175 i have a 34" waist and wear a 36DD bra and size 13/14 pant size and got a booty. Is that fat? or is it really thick? And i mean, i work out like 4 times a week for 60-90 minutes and walk about 3-4 miles a day. I played sports all through high school and am pretty fit, i do have some little rolls but nothing massive. what do you guys think? (and women) I also have long brown curly hair and hazel eyes. i have dimples and i am always being told i am beautiful. do some people just like to make people feel down and badly about themself because it makes them feel better or what?

If you think you look good, and your fiancee thinks you look good, don't worry about grandpa. A LOT of women have rolls-we're supposed to have more fat than men, that's just the way it is. A man can have 3% body fat and be perfectly healthy, but a woman with 3% body fat probably won't have a normal period, if she has one at all. If you're fit and just have a larger frame than the stick figures we see on tv and in magazines, so what? I wear a size 8 but have linebacker shoulders, what can you do? Be happy with yourself, and find a way to respectfully tell gramps that you're healthy and happy with yourself and you'd appreciate it if he'd can the stuff about you dieting.

When an older lady I worked with at a previous job told me I was looking a little chunky, a co-worker told me to tell her "so what, I may be chubby but you're old and gonna die soon." Just a bit of humor to brighten your day :)

You do things because you want to, no offense to Gramps, but screw him, he is old fashioned. If you feel good and your happy, what else do you need or want? It sounds like you loosing weight is only going to effect your Grandpa. Good for you! You seem confident in what you are and what you have. Flaunt it! You being comfortable and confident means way more than being a size 2! Be happy and don't worry about what anybody says, their jealous anyways. Rock on!

My grandpa goes swimming every day; so he often asks me if I have been doing enuf swimming. But he would never say that I am fat. My dad tell me that I am ugly because he has a pretty girlfriend. There you go, its nothing to do with you. Is your grandpa very fit or he constantly looking out for women?

Seriously, as long as your fit and healthy, and happy, and your fiance is happy, you should just stop worrying!!and considering you do so much sport, my guess is that your probably just muscular.muscle ways more per gram than fat you know?!yeh id say people are just jealous.and mean like shapely girls, i bet you get told that too!asnd by the way, all girls who are a healthy weight have "little rolls" - its a design feature, for maternity and all that!!!

Your grandpa is probably jealous that your're beautiful and that he has no choice but to remain your grandpa.

Tell him that your guy friends think you look pretty hot, and that you don't really think much about what the older men think 'cos you're not to please them!

If YOU think you're beautiful, then there is a big chance that you really ARE beautiful.

Feel good about yourself but if you truly want advice.

Don't eat out so often and exercise 3-5 times a week.

You sound like my kind of woman. I appreciate women with lots of nice curves.

Don't go by what other people say. Go by what your doctor says. If your doctor says you need to lose weight, you probably should.

Aside from that, just ignore anybody who tells you you're too heavy.

Sounds to me like you are just a bit bigger boned. It's nothing to be ashamed of. You have curves but hardly any rolls! Lucky you!

Tell grampa he's old and smells like Ben Gay.
What an Ahole, that's just rude to say to your grandkid.
