I have an unusual color brick, and am installing a patio out front. Can't find any paving stones that will work. Has anyone had experience staining the basic concrete 12 x 12 pavers that are available everywhere? Thanks in advance!

I'm looking at using the standard gray concrete pavers; my house is the color of chocolate milk.

Why not just put THOMPSON'S sealer on them, it darkens them a bit.

Pavers may be fastened a lot much less complicated if there is settling or heaving and if one breaks you in simple terms could replace that one. Laying them does not could be as rushed as with pouring concrete the place time is of the essence. draw back to pavers is that weeds opt to strengthen in between them and ants build little piles of sand on them. Concrete isn't as pleasing, yet you may constantly up the anty by means of including a colorant or use a stamp to make it resemble cobblestones. Suseptable to cracking and buckling (especially in chilly climates). i'm uncertain how a lot pavers might fee, yet we in simple terms did a 40 5' long x 4' huge sidewalk in concrete for approximately $4 hundred.

WHAT COLOR ARE YOU TRYING TO ACHIEVE? YOU CAN STAIN CONCRETE WITH JUST ABOUT ANY DYE THAT IS PERMANENT. MAKE SURE CONCRETE IS DRY AND WARM TO TOUCH MIX DYE SOLUTION AND APPLY, LET STAND UNTIL DRY .CONCRETE ACCEPTS STAINING READILY DUE TO POROSITY ,JUST DETERMINE WHAT COLOR YOU WANT THEN APPLY IN AS STRONG A MIXTURE AS YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE THE RESULTS YOU NEED. PASTE SOLUTION WILL WOK BEST AS IT WILL LEACH COLOR INTO CONCRETE AT ASLOWER BUT MORE EFFECTIVE RATE
