how can i convince my mother to buy me a hamster?

I really want to buy a hamster,but my mother hates animals,and im trying to covince her,do you have any ideas?

OMG! Thats allmost some thing like me but a bit different
My mum likes pets she has nothing against it but the landlord so
1) I showed my mum responsible
2) I looked after my stupid fish which i hate and also i was a good owner of a dog or a cat but that was a few years ago
3) Now i have to do washing up and tidying up for 3 months
4) Try to get the money for your hamster your self to show your mum even when you grow up you will still find cash for your pet
5) Make somekind of deal with your mum
6) Promise you will look after it
7) Cry and make her fell guilty
8) Read websites and every thing read all of this www.hamster-heaven.com it has everything you need to know and read it all now i showed my mum i know a lot about mahsters so if something happens to them ill know what it is
Im getting my hamster in 3 days i got a cage from my friend and i got £15 that to buy hamster food ball running whell and hamster but my dad will propably help me buy it any way
Im so lucky trust me it works if i done it in 2 days time so will you
And even do were not allowed pets in house im still getting hamster lol me and my mum are soo bad lol
So trust me it will work if not i dono but it all worked for me i started beging on friday 23/03/07 and im getting mine in 2 or 3 days time coz im getting cage tomorow and other stuff so

Find information about caring for hamsters and show what you found to try and convince her that they can be nice little companions in a home. Also, you could try doing some extra stuff around the house to show how responsible you are. If none of those work, then I guess you will have to wait till your in your own house.

well convincing my mom was a piece of cake. ok so i wanted a guinea-pig but i already had 1 and i thought he needed a friend so we were going 2 the petstore to get shavings and i looked at all the guinea-pigs and i said mom look at that 1 he is so cute and we got to take him out and hold him and my mom said do u want him and i was like oh ya! butif youdon't already have 1 then maybe you should take her to the mall or something and if they have a pet store you should say lets go look in here and then show her the cutelittle fuzzy hamsters and she will like them...that is how i got my guinea-pig...hope this helps also maybe you could like have a computer haster or something and show her you are responsible enough to feed it and clean its cage and stuff like that hope it works and make sure you can like goonline or get a book from the library and look at all the things you need to care for your animal

well my mother hates animals too, I wanted a hamster and she said no, so I asked my dad and he said yes. Then I told my mom he was going to buy me a hamster for my birthday and she said okay but you better take care of it. I begged her for it by saying good things like "there so little", and "they don't do much"!....you should say good things like that.

Shoe who yew are responsible by helping out around the house. Save up your money and tell her that you will buy all the equipment you need if she buys you the hamster.

i begged every day for years the trick is to ask when they say no back off immediatly change the subject dont make it a point of anger for them
if they ask questions like "how are you going to pay for it " awnser with chores or a babysitting job whatever
be matter of fact but do not argue no matter how much you want to

Well I used to love dogs and still do but my mom didn't.But one day my moms friend brang her dog over and my mom was starting to get used to it.Two months later BANG we got a dog! So if you have a friend who has a hamster ask if they could bring it over to your home for a few hours.It might work!!Good luck!
