Babysitting or working for someone under the table is about the only jobs that you can get. Jobs like yard work or something like that!

It really depends on where you live and how much they want to work. federal law states that during the school year they can't work more than 15 hours in a week so the places that will hire them is limited. I am the manager at a waterpark and since we are only open during the summer we hire kids 14 and older because during the summer they are able to work 40 hours a week. my reccomendation would be to find your kid a job that mainly does business during the summer because they will be more likely to take them.

At fourteen babysitting is the best job for you. Then; you'll see how it is to have to bothered with kids and you won't be foolish to have one.
