In 5 years you will be 30.
You will be 30 whether or not you get the degree. Then what?? You can look back and say "I'm glad I did it." or " I wish I would have done it."
Your call.

Are you kidding me, done at 30 to late? Your not dead yet! Most people live to be 80, 30's not even half your life, so are you just not gonna do it and live the other 50 years wondering how life could have been different if ONLY you would have give FOUR years of it to getting a degree?
Just make sure that whatever you choose is what you really want, be it the kind of degree, job, or future you are hoping for.

My mother started working on her BA when she was in her late 40's. She finished her Masters a few years ago and is now working her FIRST professional job ever as a Gallery Director and Fine Art Teacher. NEVER too late to start working on a dream.. The time you are wasting is in questioning if you could make better choices, sure you could.. Now make em! :D

My aunt went back to to school after her two kids went into highschool. She was in her mid-thirties, she studied accounting and finished valedictorian in her class. She then became a CPA and now works for the government in DC i think she is a GS-14 (the top civilian ranking) with her own secretary, pulling in $150,000 plus all the benifits.
Are you to old? Hell no, but you do want to be more settled into a career by that age especailly if you have kids.

Are you nuts? Of course you're not too old--ever! However, the question you should probably ask yourself is why do you feel you're wasting your time now.

Go for it, stop putting time lines on everything. You are allowed to change your mind, and pursue your dreams. Follow your heart!
