i'm planning on having bangs as a part of my new hairstyle..but i've heard people say that having one will only add pimples to your forehead..? is it true? does anyone know any remedies or ways to avoid this to happen..?

This will happen if you let your bangs get greasy- then the oils from your hair will transfer onto your forehead- so don't let your bangs get greasy and wash your face 2 x a day (which you should already be doing :) )

Eshpeshially in your teenage years, having bangs can make you have pimples. It depends on how responsible you are at washing your hair. Do you do so every day? If you do then you could try having bangs - but do not be suprezed if you do come up with those hateful little pink things all over your face!
The worst thing that could happen id if you get blackheads. They are super hard to get out and most times you have to go see a dermotilogist. He would tell you to cut your bangs, and then they would look awful. I suggest you not do it!

well, it can be true because the oils, grease, and dirt from your hair maight get onto your forehead, clogging your pores. This is what causes pimples. This doesn't necessarily mean that u cant have bangs, all it means is that you need 2 try to wash your forehead more times, and more thouroughly. Also, try 2 keep your hair clean and not oily.

I think if you don't wash your bangs well, then it would probably contribute to the oil on your forehead, and all the bacteria on your hair would cause pimples. It hasn't happened to me much, but maybe it's because I clip up my bangs when I'm at home.

I hv bangs for many years. I only had pimples when I don't wash my forehead with good soap regularly. 'Cos your dirt stick to the ends of your bangs and this can cause pimply rash on the forehead. Either that or get pregnant.

Yes you might increase the chances of having pimples on your forhead if you get bangs make sure to wash your hair ever other day and use pimple cream before bed

no, its not true. dont listen 2 the ppl u heard from. bangs can cover ur pimples on ur forehead if u hav any but it wont increase pimples. if it does, try proactiv

well i have bangs. and ive gotten a few forehead pimples...butttt the bangs are there to hide then, so it doesnt really matter. also, if ur using proactive and its working for you, then it should probably be enough.

If you don't wash your hair and it is oily, the oils from your hair will rub off onto your forehead and cause pimples. So yes. But as long as you wash your daily you'll be fine.
