the league of nations or the big five was a group of countries that tried to keep the peace after world war one, it was suggested by woodrow wilson in his document the 14 points but ironically the senate would not allow the us to join- germany was part of it but they withdrew when the other counties would not let them expand like they wanted to-so germany expanded and france or britain didnt stop them because they didnt want another war, however germany declared war on many counties in europe and defeated them all besides russia and great britan,
here's more info if you want

Well, the League of Nations was the father of the United Nations.

How did it cause World War Two? It was formed at the end of the first world war, and the goal of this organization was to prevent another world war. But because of a lack of support from the member countries, it fell apart before the start of WW2.

The problem was that member countries were unwilling to commit any kind of military help to stop aggressive nations like Fascist Italy and Japan throughout the 1930s, and this only encouraged Nazi Germany carry out its own aggressive ambitions at the end of the decade.

The league of nations was what led to the United Nations; a union of countries, based on Woodrow Wilson's "14 points"

he wanted to use it to create peace after world war 1, but even though Europe supported it, the American congress turned it down, so it didnt go anywhere, and before World War 2 it was dissolved, so now they were all free to do all they wanted to.

After World War 2, they created The United Nations.

hope it helps!

What started the war was the assassination of arch duke of Austria. This seemingly enraged the fellow axis power country Germany which proceeded to accuse the rest of the world for this and attacked Poland. The League of Nations was a number of countries that won the 1st WW and made Germany disarm. Since that time Germany became desperate to reagain it's world power and randomly started blaming the League of Nations for al their problems. Axis power countries consisted of Germany, Austria-Hungry, Italy, and Japan. There were a few neutral countries that would swing either way depending on the outcome of the war. And Russia believe it or not would join the Axis power if it wasn't for Hitlers betrayal of unequal occupancy of Poland. Stalin got pissed off and joined the Allied Forces to fight his once sworn friend/now enemy.
