There really is nothing you can do but wait. As you are growing out your nails, get a manicure often, so that your nails will grow out long and beautifuly shaped.
You could also try nail groth liquids at the pharmacy. Thats what I did, and now I am really happy about my hands.

you can try clear nail polish that mite help. They have this new green tea Nial polish, an since Green tea is good for you it mite work like a charm. Have you tried pushing you nails back when you get out of the shower. That helps. You shouldn't get Manicures, they ruin your finger nails and make them brake easy, and also make them weak.

I'm guessing you've bitten them. In that case, there is no "fast" solution. It could take years to undo that. As much as it pains me to say it, go to a salon and see if they can apply a set of sculpted acrylics, although it'll damage your nails more. That's the only way to get length quickly. Most of all DON'T PICK AT THEM! My husband had little stubby nails when we met, but he bit them and picked at them. After he got on medication and was no longer as nervous, it took years for the nails to normalize. As for your nail bed being flat, I'm sorry, but that's how your nails grow. Everyone's nail bed is different. Bear in mind that women's nails also grow more slowly that men's because of the oestrogen. I used to have wee, flimsy little nails that ripped and broke, but then I started taking NV (the diet pill) and I was able to grow out my acrylics and have nice natural nails for the first time in my life. The perfect combination for nails is: collagen, calcium, gelatin, and vitamin D. And if you frequently wash dishes or have your hands in water, wear rubber gloves (like the Playtex Living dish gloves from the grocery store). Water can damage nails like nothing else.

Seriously, eat a cube of jelly every day, it won't be overnight but IF you do eat one EVERY day your nails will improve. You will have to be patient though, as nails do take a long time to grow.
